Dr. Barry,
Thanks for a very helpful video on channel trading. Trading channels can be quite scary sometimes because of its “whip-saw” nature with deep retraces, making stoploss placement tricky! Nevertheless your snapshot of it through the illustration with candlesticks was very good and helpful. As always, I appreiciate and enjoy your videos and the information imparted – always informative and useful. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Pat

Although I have been shown this before, you’re approach seems to make more sense. You do all your presentations in a slow methodical way that makes it understandable for me. Thanks.

Thank you so much for good videos , and the channeling skills will great helpful for me for the future because I am just a novice trader.
What my most concern about is how to identify the turnning
point of the resissitant or support, and how to set the ask/ bid price ? I have set a strict rule as 4 cents to cut loss ,and was shaked out most of times …. ( I start trading TWX and JDSU for learnning ) Would you please perform coach at next video or give me some advice via email ?
Barry Burns says
Frank, thanks for the comment and it’s a good one.
Can’t do justice to the question in an email or a single video. It’s has to be part of one’s trading plan. In other words, how you would handle this in one trading method would vary from how you would handle it in another trading method.
If you’re interested in my method, I explain all of this in my courses at:

As in all your videos Barry, very informative. Thank you for your five day course. My understanding of reading charts has improved enormously. Problem. I have a Mac 1.5 GHz PowerBook G4 running OSX 10.4.11 and cannot find a platform that supports it. If you are about to tell me I need Windows Media Player, don’t, it doesn’t work. Up to a point, maybe, but I come across instructions that do not work, and pages that corrupt when activated. Do you know of a platform made for the MAC? I am not going to risk my money on maybes.

I am curious to find out what blog system you are working with? I’m experiencing some minor security problems with my latest blog and I would like to find something more risk-free. Do you have any solutions?
Barry Burns says
